Trainer Angela

Founder & Community Builder

Born and raised in San Diego, I grew up active with a passion for movement! I began teaching yoga in 2012, which laid the foundation for a deeper connection to both physical and mental strength.

In 2018, I opened Liber8FIT with a vision to create more than just a gym—I wanted a space built on inclusion, community, and real, lasting change. In 2023, I became the sole owner, continuing to grow Liber8FIT into a place where people feel supported, empowered, and strong in every sense of the word.

I’m a busy mom of three, married to my high school sweetheart! I understand firsthand how busy life can be, which is why I’m so passionate about creating a space where people can show up exactly as they are and find liber8tion in the process!

B.S. in Kinesiology

With a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology I have over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry! For years I coached college athletes to peak performance, now I help everyday clients build strength, confidence, and lasting results.

Over the last 13 years I’ve specialized in strength training, functional fitness, and performance-based programming! I incorporate my background in athletic conditioning, power and mobility — I believe in a supportive, upbeat vibe that makes training something to look forward to!

Outside of the gym, you’ll find me exploring the outdoors, dancing at music festivals, or discovering healthy recipes with friends!

Trainer Caitlin

PT, CNC

As a lifelong athlete, I discovered that building strength was a game-changer for my performance and overall well-being. With extensive education and certifications in landmine training, kettlebells, mobility, rotational strength training, nutrition, and general strength and conditioning, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my coaching. My philosophy is simple: when you have a clear reason to train, you’ll show up consistently.

When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me on the disc golf course, training in jiu-jitsu, playing pickleball, hiking, climbing, enjoying a round of golf, biking, or spending quality time at the beach with my girlfriend and our dog. I’m honored to share my experiences as the champion of the 2024 Landmine University Games.

Trainer Amanda

PT, DPT

Fitness has always been a cornerstone of my life, starting as a group fitness instructor in college, where I discovered the power of community and the impact of challenging workouts.

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy and certified in the Barbell Rehab Method, I believe in the philosophy that “movement is medicine.” My training style is centered around building mobility, confidence, and strength—especially through heavy lifting and functional movement.

I offer personalized rehab and recovery sessions designed to get you back to doing what you love, pain-free. If you’re in need of rehabilitation or want to take your fitness to the next level, I encourage you to book a session with me to experience a holistic approach to healing and strength-building.
